Hi! My name’s Jen.

I grew up in central Pennsylvania and have lived in various cities around the US, England, and Germany. I’ve had careers in music and writing, but the shamanic path has always been a part of my life. 

My goal is to bring the “spiritual” down to earth— to integrate our ancient knowings into real-life, real-world possibilities.

My personal effort in life is to allow myself to embody more, to be more human, and to live with a joyful, honest heart, while also not ignoring my shadows.

Birth Your Story: A Gathering for Mothers in Their First Postpartum Year

In this workshop, we will share birth stories, discuss postpartum experiences, and do some group processing. Jen will share how societal, childhood, and ancestral experiences can affect the postpartum months, and how mothers can support themselves in deep and lasting ways. There will be a group art exercise to process moments during and after birth.

They say it takes a village, and it truly does! This is an opportunity to be heard and seen as you are, and to be held in a circle that cares.

Limited to 6 participants. All are welcome. Please wear whatever feels comfortable and feel free to bring your baby! Please arrive within 15 minutes before we begin so that we may begin on time.

Facilitated by Jen Brown, a devoted mama and heart-centered ceremonialist who is guided by the ancient practices of shamanism. Through her work at Heart Grounding, she supports others in unveiling, reclaiming, and embodying their unique paths.
